Choosing the right frame not only accentuates the picture within it but creates the right mood in the room. White frames are extremely versatile and silver ones are a popular choice. We have three white and silver frames in our collection for you to choose from.

Why choose a white or silver frame?

White frames are suitable for both contemporary and traditional surroundings. They lend a slightly casual edge to the overall look and add an element of light in a dark space. When framing your artwork or treasured photographs in a white frame, the light color enhances the dark aspects of the contents while the lighter tones are not as distinct.

Silver frames suit modern décor and they reflect light, which is ideal in a smaller or darker space as it opens up the room. Silver works best with cooler colors, whether that’s in the artwork or on your walls. Silver frames around your pictures add elegance and a touch of glamour to your room.

Our white and silver frames

Opt for a solid color of silver or white with our Brushed Nickel or Pearl frames. Alternatively, our Plata frame has an ornate design for a softer effect.

Add a white or black matboard if desired. Frames are made of wood and all styles are the same price. Note: Matboards show up in checkout as a separate item.

Tips:

  • Keep in mind that the size you choose is for the image alone. With a frame and potentially a matboard, the finished piece of art will be larger. For example, a 12x16 image, with a 1" matboard on all sides and a 1" frame, will ultimately be 16x20 on your wall.
  • Think about where you'll be hanging the art and how the frame style will match the room.
  • We promise to do our best to flag blurry images before they are framed and will contact you if we believe your image is blurry. However, this is not a guarantee, so please ensure that your image is at least 300 DPI and sized correctly.

*Ensure that your image's resolution is at least 300 DPI. You can check your image's resolution the following ways:

    • Windows: Right-click on the file name and select Properties > Details. You'll see the DPI in the Image section, labeled Horizontal Resolution and Vertical Resolution.
    • Mac: Open the image in Preview and select Tools > Adjust Size. It's labeled Resolution.
